Keypoint Credit Union’s Directors’ Retreat

KeyPoint Federal Credit Union is a credit union headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and chartered and regulated under the authority of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). KeyPoint Federal Credit Union has open membership to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school in or is a business entity in East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parishes (Louisiana). KeyPoint Federal is owned by its membership, governed by a Board of volunteers, and elected by and from the membership.

KeyPoint Federal Credit Union is the first credit union in the Baton Rouge area to obtain a community charter and with several others in the area quickly following their success. KeyPoint Credit Union invited Dr. Zunaira Munir to their Board of Director’s Retreat for a keynote presentation on Blue Ocean Strategy to offer a new perspective on strategy. Dr. Munir led an introductory training session for the Board of Directors in August 2007 in Hawaii offering her insight on how Blue Ocean Strategy challenges traditional business strategies and focuses on innovation as a systematic process.
