Corporate Training Program
Blue Ocean Strategy is based on six defining principles to systematically minimize risks and maximize opportunities when attempting to break out of competition and making it irrelevant.
Strategize Blue's corporate training program is designed to train executives in these basic principles for systematically applying the Blue Ocean Strategy process and its tools and analytical frameworks to create Blue Oceans of their own. Participants attend a monthly session for six consecutive months. Each session lasts approximately four hours. The first session introduces the participants to the strategic logic that lets companies make competition irrelevant. Each of the remaining sessions concentrate on one or more of the six principles of Blue Ocean Strategy through an introduction of its visual tools and analytical frameworks.
The training begins with a thirty-minute presentation on the first of the two visual tool/analytical frameworks. The presentation is followed by 90 minutes of practical exercises which demonstrate and reinforce the underlying principles of how the tool/framework can be applied in the workplace. This is followed by a second half-hour presentation featuring the second tool/framework and another 90 minutes of practical application and exercises.
The monthly sessions involve "situational exercises," case studies, and group and individual activities designed to ensure not only the participants' grasp of the material but also their ability to apply the tool/framework they have learned, as applicable to their company.
