- Bold Strategies for Uncommon Times celebrated the Center's 30 year anniversary & 30 years of building better leaders. The conference celebrated 30 visionary and effective nonprofit leaders that met their ambitious goals or renewed lagging support or reinvented organizations in the face of overwhelming obstacles; the same challenges that launched radical and impactful strategies.
- Dr. Zunaira Munir was a featured keynote speaker on the topic of Blue Ocean Strategy. Dr. Munir challenged the audience to think beyond the "Red Ocean" and move into the "Blue Ocean," filled with untapped opportunities for successful growth and development. Matthew LeVeque spoke on how to demystify Web 2.0 to increase the reach and impact through social networking. He shared stories about using digital strategies, the impact, the challenges and practical applications for the future.
- The Center's 30th Anniversary Reception brimmed with new ideas and the readiness to shake things up, allowed colleagues to network and connect with the Center's talented and dedicated instructors, consultants, and friends who have been building better leaders since 1969.
