- The Ohio State University Medical Center (OSUMC) is a multidisciplinary academic medical center based on The Ohio State University main campus in Columbus Ohio. In 2010, the Ohio State University Hospital was ranked one of "America's Best" by U.S News & World Report in 11 specialties. OSU Medical Center was the only Central Ohio hospital ranked as "America's Best" in 2010. In 2009, OSUMC was ranked as one of the best hospitals in the U.S. by U.S News & World Report in 10 specialties, and was one of just 21 hospitals to be named to the nation's honor roll of hospitals.
- In February 2009, Dr. Zunaira Munir collaborated with OSUMC for a customized Blue Ocean Strategy Workshop and Keynote Presentation. The customized Blue Ocean Strategy workshop focused on patient care, medical education and medical research for personalized health care as part of their corporate residency program introducing its tools and frameworks to apply to their medical interests. Dr. Munir also challenged the OSUMC marketing and sales team with a Blue Ocean Strategy keynote presentation. The presentation included an engaging and informative introduction to Blue Ocean Strategy, its logic, application and effectiveness.
