- In October 2010 Senior Global Blue Ocean Strategy Network Member Dr. Zunaira Munir trained Pfizer executives to understand and get started on Blue Ocean Strategy. Blue Ocean Strategy challenges traditional competition-bases strategies as it covers strategy formulation and execution. The Blue Ocean Strategy Workshop did just that by offering insight into the systematic methodology which focuses on minimizing risk and maximizing opportunities by using the Blue Ocean Strategy tools and frameworks. Pfizer executives were able to move from thought to action to begin creating their own blue oceans of uncontested market space.
