- In August 2011 Senior Global Blue Ocean Strategy Network Member Dr. Zunaira Munir conducted a Blue Ocean Strategy Strategic Planning Workshop for the members of the Tyco International Ltd. executive team. The workshop challenged Tyco International Ltd to begin applying the Blue Ocean Strategy tools and frameworks to the design and manufacturing industry. It consisted of situational exercises, real Blue Ocean Strategy case-studies and interactive group exercises to ensure the participants not only grasped the Blue Ocean Strategy theory but also helped participants learn to apply it practically. By diving deep into Blue Ocean Strategy the Tyco International Ltd moved from thought to action in their pursuit for formulating commercially viable Blue Ocean Strategy ideas.
